The writer is obviously not very much in the know how of computers. He does not understand the growth of computers and their security. For me computers have been a no brainer my entire life because of my father. My dad is the assistant deputy attorney general for the state of California and is the head and founder of the high tech crime unit.
COMPUTER PRIVACY- I grew up hearing about every new innovation and its affect on the privacy and security of peoples lives. While computers have been having an extremely fast technical growth with the next best thing coming out around every 3 months. The privacy safety programming comes out at a rate of being updated once a week.
COMPUTER LOSS- In the persons writing he said he lost many files while using the windows 1995 with a single click, the problem is back then computer memory was counted in the low gigabytes for total memory, while nowadays it is normal to have over a terabyte (100 Gigabytes) for any system. there are also easy ways to back up any data on a secure system separate storage device such as an external hard drive or an internet back up source. There was a time when one of our computers crashed and we had to totally reset the system but 2 hours later it was back to exactly as it was before by using the our externak hard drive to put all the files the computer had lost were back.

  1. Yes the writer obviously didn't know the risk in not backing up his files. His HUGE problem could have been easily solved with an extrnal or online hard drive.
