There were many reasons you may have had this class read Django Paris' piece but one aspect I took from it was that you wanted us to see how many cultures and languages are out there and how they can still relate to one another. Kind of like how everyone in this class has a different literacy they relate to but how at the same time we can all relate to one another. Even though we may all come from the same background, we all still have certain ways of communicating.
