Quickwrite 9/6
I think the purpose of reading Django Paris' work was to learn about the African American Language and how it is a type of literacy and has its own unique grammatical structure. This reading relates to our course and our first paper because it helps us further understand the definition of literacy that we had just learned.

Yeah, its amazing how you can be literate in anything basically. I would have never known that sports or cooking could be considered a literacy. Also I believe that this reading was helpful in writing our first paper so we could be introduced to other literacy's that what we knew before this class.
