Matt Jandernoa-Where I Come From is Like This

My general reaction to the piece of writing was kind of shocking because how people stereotyped the indian women culture and how difficult it was for them to find there feminity. I thought it was odd that so many indian women are having trouble redefining themselves, you would think they would try to be more like a indian woman rather than the western cultures. Many of the people outside of the their culture had different views on certain aspects of everyday life like how they live. Even though the america culture may be different from indian cultures they also kind of tie together how things may be handed down from parents.
