How does this reading relate to you as a human?
I grew up in a predominantly female household with no fatherly figure, so i had to step us as man of the house at a fairly young age. I grew up around my grandma, mom, and sister who were significantly influential in my life. They never took "no" for an answer from someone and loved to do tasks, chores, and jobs that were seen as male dominant actions. Even to this day i still look up to their ambition and drive to always progress and never falter.
My grandma always makes the traditional Italian dinner and we sit down to hear stories about Italy from my grandpa and grandma which reminds me of the section of the reading in which the women of the tribe passed down stories to the next generation. This passing down of stories is seen as a cultural right in both the Indian culture and Italian culture.
