Chapter 4 has probably been the most valuable chapter for me so far in this book. Especially the structure for exploring chart on page 151. I mean almost everybody knows how to search for stuff in the internet or in a library, but for me it is really hard to get started with the actual paper and I think this outline of how to write a draft is really helpful and I will definitely use it when I actually start writing my paper.

that chart was helpful for me also. I hate starting papers also but a lot of that information has been helpful so far.
ReplyDeleteI feel that starting papers is very difficult but once i get the thesis down it seems pretty straight forward. I think it will still be difficult to start this paper because it is extremely formal in my case. Usually I tend to start with a story or anecdote but this will be too informal in my paper.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I was trying to start my paper for awhile but couldn't get the feel for the structure of my paper, so I ended up just taking the books I has and created a hierarchy to work from, this allowed my paper to have a nice flow and not be too compacted or loose in other areas.
