Disco is making a come back today because people are going back to the past. If you look at what people are wearing today it is older style of clothing and along with that style of clothing they are adapting disco music.
going off of what matt said, retro fashioned clothes are making a comeback to create a hybrid sort of fashion of contemporary/retro styled outfits. for example, i see windbreakers, cardigans, and button ups more than i have in the past.
