Quickwrite 11/21

"To human beings, forming an opinion is as natural and as necessary as breathing"...this is true because in order to percieve and understand anything we must first create and keep an opinion on it. this opinion can change as time goes on and we learn more about it, but we always have a certain feeling and emotion attached to that thing.
I would say that argument also belongs in that quote. Arguing and allowing other people to understand how you think is how we fit in and make friends, followers, and enemies. It is how we elect our leaders and choose what is the best. It is how we make a POINT.

  1. I agree, without arguments we would all be drones. Sure everyone might have their own opinions about things, but they would either keep it to themselves or just believe whatever everyone else seems to be believing. They would have little to no opinion on things without an argument to think outside the box. Arguing allows for mistakes to be corrected, things to be invented and basically creates opportunities for everything that exists to evolve into better things with new arguments and ideas.

  2. I agree with how you said in order to understand anything we first have to create an opinion on it. I think when people make their own opinions that is when we learn about them and how they really are. I would also agree that sometimes we argue in order to make a point, and that through arguing we make our friend, followers, and enemies. I am not so sure though that it is necessary to argue to do that though. It can go either way I guess.

  3. I couldnt agree more Beers your quickwrites are quite good. Aruguing is exactly how we fit in with our friends, enemies, and followers. Going off what Sam said arguing does allow for new opportunities to be created.
